The museum is open only over the summer months months (June-September). Ranger-led plans materialize within the patio outside of the museum, which deal with the geology that helped to build Lassen Volcano along with the Other people inside the park, and there is a film all with regard to the park which is demonstrated numerous occasions each day.[4
